Multicultural Children’s Book Day continues to be one of my favorite events of the year!
The incredible collection of diverse books, connecting with amazing bloggers and authors, the anticipation of seeing bloggers post amazing book reviews for you, and so on.
This year, I was chosen to review these two amazing books by Carole P. Roman. One is about Russia and the other about the Mayan Empire!
While I really liked both of them, being a historical fiction fan, the Mayan Empire one truly drew me in. The book goes into such amazing detail about how life was in those days and includes some fascinating facts.
I read it with my almost 8-year-old and he couldn’t get enough of it.
